Jump in McAllen metro exports gains recognition

The International Trade Administration has named the McAllen metro area the seventh best export market in Texas and 50th in the country. The latest available figures from ITA are based on 2010 exports, during which McAllen saw an increase of 20 percent, shipping products to other countries to near pre-recession levels.
