On Aug. 7, McA2, a virtual art walk series, takes place and artists Angelika Eleni Ruiz Gualberto and Victoria Lopez are seeking artists who would like to participate.
The collaboration of the two artists came from the need to express art in the community. Gualberto and Lopez have already successfully hosted two events. Assisting them with technical support are Joe Martinez of KCYP and Stephen Samuel Lopez. The June 5 and July 3 events are now available on the McAllen Creative Incubator YouTube channel.
McA2 submission deadline July 31
Artists may participate in the next Virtual Art Walk by submitting a five- to six-minute creative video through the Google form.
Videos must be creative or educational in content. There is no fee to participate. The Creative Arts Incubator’s goal is to support the continued professional growth of artists and enhance the cultural and economic vitality of our local community. The Incubator will accept submissions on a continual basis.
