A Night At The Brew-seum Is Back

The International Museum of Art & Science’s annual fundraiser A Night at the Brew-seum is back this year with multiple in-persona and virtual events. With the main event taking place April 15, other ways to participate include a virtual 5K, a virtual science of beer bread baking event, a beer dinner and Beer & Yoga.

This year’s in-person event will feature PODs for guests to participate in the evening. Each 10-foot-by-10-foot POD is available for seating groups of two, four, six or eight together. PODs are very limited in number to ensure safe social distancing during the event. Each POD will have zone designations with at least six feet between each POD. PODs will be on the IMAS grounds in an outdoor setting with Howl at the Moon performing on an outdoor stage.

All attendees to A Night at the Brew-seum must check-in before the event for a temperature check and symptom questionnaire. Patrons must wear a mask or face covering at all times when entering the museum, using the restroom, and anytime away from their POD.

Currently, IMAS members are able to purchase PODs on a first-come, first-served basis. The general public may do so beginning March 5.

PODs will not be held for any guests without direct payment via theimasonline.org/brewseum or by calling 956-681-2800. PODs may also be purchase in person at the IMAS, 1900 West Nolana Ave. in McAllen.
