Current research on customer service indicates that employees who exhibit the leadership skills closely associated with effective customer service tend to stay in their organizations longer and are more committed to the work. Training employees on how to effectively listen to customers, quickly and effectively deal with concerns, and properly communicate with important information to customers and other employees is essential in today’s organizations.

In the sessionm, participants will learn:

  1. The importance of first impressions
  2. Why active listening is important to customer service
  3. How to handle difficult customers

Lunch will be provided for registered attendees. The session carries a $15 fee for McAllen Chamber members and $20 fee per for non-member.
