The federal government’s goal is to award at least five percent of all federal contracting dollars to certified Women-Owned Small businesses each year.
This Nov. 18 workshop is on the SBA’s WOSB and the Economically Disadvantaged Woman-Owned Small Business certification.
Participants will learn:
- If Government Contracting is for them.
- What is SAM (System for Award Management) and how to register.
- How to grow a business utilizing the SBA government contracting programs.
- What the WOSB and the EDWOSB Program pertains.
UTRGV Rio South Texas Regional Procurement Technical Assistance Center will also share information on their training and counseling services. PTAC helps businesses obtain state and federal certifications and understand the contracting process.
