DESCRIPTION:Texas Cook’ Em: High Steaks makes its return July 4 in Edinburg\, complete with vendors\, live music\, car show\, a children’s fun area and its state championship barbecue competition. The event is free. \nTexas Cook’Em is one of Texas’s biggest BBQ purse\, awarding $16\,000 to the winners. Competitors battle it out to cook the best chicken\, ribs\, pork brisket and rib-eye for money and bragging rights. \nA performance by Def Leggend\, a tribute to Def Leppard\, will kick-off the free concert. At sunset\, a fireworks display will commence\, followed by the performance of American Country Award winner Easton Corbin. \n
