Quinta Mazatlán World Birding Center hosts UTRGV research farmer Stephanie Kasper on March 3 for a special presentation on sustainable agriculture and growing food in the Rio Grande Valley. \nThis presentation will discuss strategies for starting and maintaining vegetable gardens under challenging South Texas conditions. \nKasper is a research farmer at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. Here\, she studies soil health practices and manages the Hub of Prosperity Farm. The farm began in 2019 for community-facing sustainable agriculture research and education.
