DESCRIPTION:The U.S. Small Business Administration recognizes that supporting entrepreneurship is a team effort. “Fair Labor Standards Act” on April 15 is the seventh workshop in a series of 10 specifically developed with the local entrepreneur in mind. \nThe 10-part series addresses a variety of subjects and connects participants with experts from federal\, state and local business resources. Did you recently start a business or planning to start one? While starting a business is an exciting venture\, it can be overwhelming and daunting to navigate without proper planning\, understanding and execution. \nOwning a small business brings many responsibilities\, including compliance with various federal labor and employment laws. Employers must comply with both federal and state laws.
