Code#RGV GeekoutThe local non-profit Code#RGV, an organization which creates tech entrepreneurs and skilled professionals for local jobs, hosts its first organized fundraiser April 14. Geekout 2018 will feature One More Time: A Tribute to Daft Punk and local businesses and individuals are encouraged to support the event via varying level sponsorships.

Code#RGV says the event puts the “fun back in fundraising.” Geekout will provide funding to continue “to push the envelope when it comes to educating the youth, teens, young adults, and everyone in the Rio Grande Valley.” Each sponsorhip level includes tickets to a pre-concert dinner and silent auction filled with technology and gadgets. Sponsorship packages range from $250-$5,000 and custom donations are also accepted. A sponsorship form and more information is available online.

Individual tickets for Geekout 2018 are $24 and can be purchased online. The concert with One More Time will feature a full-size pyramid stage, an array of outfits, and a set list featuring favorite Daft Punk songs. The concert will be held at H-E-B Park from 7-11 p.m.
