The Edinburg Chamber of Commerce and City of Edinburg are now accepting participation applications for its annual Night of Lights Parade. The event kicks off at 7 p.m. Dec. 3 in the Edinburg Downtown District.

Organizations, schools, marching groups, businesses and community groups must submit a Night of Lights Parade entry by Nov. 19. The city and chamber encourage all entries to participate in this year’s theme “Rocking Around The Christmas Tree.” Participants of the parade must design their floats with inspiration from different genres of music and/or decades of music.

Trophies and awards will go to first-, second- and third-place winners in the business, civic and school divisions.

Those who would like to participate may download the application form at edinburg.com or stop by the Edinburg Chamber, 602 W. University Drive. Completed forms can be submitted to information@edinburg.com or mailed to Edinburg Chamber of Commerce P.O. Box 85, Edinburg, Texas 78540.
