Three successful McAllen businesswomen will receive honors Dec. 4 at the Legendary Businesswomen’s Luncheon. The event will celebrate Kay Jancik, Betty Garza and Sylvia Johnson, who will also discuss their journeys of success.
Honorees Jancik, owner of Oh Kay’s gift shop; Garza, owner of Coldwell Banker La Mansion Real Estate; and Johnson, owner of Sylvia’s, will each be interviewed about their experiences as they developed their business careers.
“This will be a great event for women in business to talk about the struggles and triumphs they experienced as they reached their goals,” said All About Women Committee Chairman and Board Member Annette Franz. “Guests will be able to learn what it takes to make it and that sometimes, stumbling blocks lead you to different paths.”
The cost to attend the event is $25 for chamber members or $35 for non-members. Admission includes lunch by Coffee Zone. Reserved tables for eight are also available. Sponsors for the Legendary Businesswomen’s luncheon are the McAllen Chamber of Commerce All About Women Committee, the City of McAllen and the Law Office of John David Franz.
The Legendary Businesswomen’s Luncheon takes place from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the McAllen Chamber of Commerce.
