STC Hosts Manufacturing Career Expo

South Texas College hosts its Manufacturing Technology Career Expo March 8, providing opportunities to meet with local manufacturing companies. The expo will take place at the Technology campus and includes companies such as GE Aviation, Toyota and Regal Beloit. In addition, Alamo Iron Works, Fox Bags, CL Scales, Rexnord, Royal Technologies, STMA and Tech Labs will also be on hand.

The Advanced Manufacturing Technology Department (AMT) will conduct various company presentations for students from 8:30-10 a.m. These will take place in the Atrium of Building E. All the exhibitors will then set up informational booths in Building B from 10 a.m. – noon. The main purpose of the event is to connect students with potential hiring opportunities in the manufacturing industry across the Valley.

This event is free and open to college students and the general public.

The STC Technology Campus is located at 3700 W. Military Hwy. in McAllen.
