DESCRIPTION:Congresswoman Monica De La Cruz\nThe Edinburg Chamber of Commerce welcomes area leaders to attend its quarterly Public Affairs Luncheon on April 13 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Congresswoman Monica De La Cruz will bring insight into her top priorities for the 118th Congressional Session. \nDe La Cruz was sworn in on Jan. 7 and is the first Latina and first Republican to represent the 15th Congressional District of Texas in the United States House of Representatives. Her district spans from Hidalgo County in the Rio Grande Valley northward to Seguin in Guadalupe County\, and to the east of San Antonio. \nThe luncheon will take place at the Edinburg Conference Center at Renaissance. The event will be live-streamed on the Edinburg Chamber of Commerce Facebook page for free viewing. \nLimited tickets and tables are available for purchase by calling the Edinburg Chamber.

SUMMARY:Art of Marketing Workshop
DESCRIPTION:The Edinburg Chamber of Commerce hosts a marketing workshop for local business owners on April 19. “Art of Marketing” covers various topics related to marketing\, including the identification of target market\, pricing strategy and more. Marivel Mata\, Senior Business Advisor at the UTRGV SBDC\, leads the workshop and will help businesses improve their marketing efforts. \n“We’re excited to offer this workshop to local business owners\,” said Ronnie Larralde\, executive director of the Edinburg Chamber of Commerce. “Marketing is an essential part of any business\, and we want to help our members improve their marketing strategies so that they can grow and succeed.” \nThe workshop includes a Q&A session where attendees can ask the presenters any questions they may have. Light refreshments will also be provided. \nInterested business owners can register online or by calling the chamber’s office. Space is limited\, so interested attendees are encouraged to register early to secure their spot.
