Allegiant is now providing nonstop service from McAllen International Airport to Phoenix, Ariz. via Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport.

“We are grateful for our partnership with Allegiant Air and are excited to be working with them on the addition of a new year-round route to Phoenix,” said McAllen Mayor James E. Darling. “This route will enhance westward connectivity for our community as well as offer affordable, non-stop service to a key business and tourist destination.”

Allegiant Air flights to Phoenix operate twice weekly, year round. The route joins Allegiant Air’s regular service to Los Angeles and Orlando as well as Las Vegas from McAllen International Airport. Travelers can find flight days, times and the best deals on fares only at Allegiant.com.

Allegiant Air gives McAllen-area travelers low base fares along with savings on rental cars and hotels. Travelers who book their entire vacation through Allegiant.com will now enjoy more value throughout the trip.

“We invite our community to make plans to visit this new non-stop destination that only McAllen International Airport and Allegiant can offer you,” said McAllen City Manager Roel “Roy” Rodriguez. “Phoenix provides the entire family an array of activities to choose from that will sure to make for a memorable vacation.”
