Beginning in May, Allegiant Air will be offering direct flights from McAllen International Airport to Orlando/Sanford, Fla. Following soon after in June, the airline will also offer direct travel to Los Angeles, Cali. Both cities’ non-stop flights will be available throughout the summer until August.
“We are excited for another busy summer knowing that Allegiant offers families in our region a great choice for economical fares and inclusive vacation packages,” said McAllen City Manager Roel “Roy” Rodriguez. “McAllen International Airport is the regional air service provider for residents in South Texas and Northern Mexico. With millions of families on both sides of the border, Orlando and Los Angeles are family destinations that provide fun and excitement.”
Flights to Orlando/Sanford from McAllen will operate five times weekly from May through August. Flights to Los Angeles will operate three times weekly from June through August.
