A.B. BarreraLocal advertising and communications professional A.B. Barrera has been named to serve as a member of the American Advertising Federation District 10’s board of directors. As a member of the board’s executive committee, Barrera will serve as the district chair for Conferences and Conventions. 

District 10 encompasses the states of Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas. The District 10 board of directors also oversees 19 American Advertising Federation chapter clubs within these areas.  

A.B. Barrera is co-CEO of PMDG Marketing Communications, a full-service advertising agency. He is also a co-owner of AlphaGraphics Laredo, a full-service print center.

He is an award-winning marketing and public relations professional. His accolades are numerous and include the MAXI Award (International Council of Shopping Centers) as well as several Addy Awards from AAF. Barrera is also a Certified Business Etiquette Professional, certified by the Emily Post Institute and a Certified Marketing Director.  

Barrera is active in national, regional and local business and industry-related organizations including AAF, serving in the past as president of the Rio Grande Valley Chapter.
