International trade shows to feature Texas

Trade show locations range from Houston to Germany

The State of Texas is coordinating the participation of Texas-based, export-ready companies at six trade shows throughout 2017.

Each trade show features a Texas pavilion exhibition space, ultimately providing a unique platform for companies to meet and engage with international customers and enable Texas companies to showcase their products and services to thousands of trade visitors and exhibitors.

Eligible companies receive free, turnkey, shared booth space, as well as pre-event and on-site assistance from staff. To qualify, the business must be a Texas-registered company (in business at least one year) and also be in good standing with the state. Additionally, the business must meet the SBA “Small Business Concern” size guidelines and also provide a product or service with at least 51 percent U.S. content. Businesses must also understand the costs of exporting, and not be debarred from receiving state or federal funding.

Trade shows, dates and registration links are as follows:

Offshore Technology Conference in Houston, TX, May 1-4
INA PAACE Automechanika in Mexico City, Mexico, June 14-16
International Paris Air Show in Paris, France, June 19-25
BIO International Convention in San Diego, CA, June 19-22
MEDICA in Dusseldorf, Germany, Nov. 13-16.

Participation is free in the pavilion, however transportation, lodging and company-specific marketing costs are additional.
