Global summit simulcast comes to Harlingen
The Rio Grande Valley will join hundreds of locations throughout the globe on May 5 in Leadercast Live, the largest one-day leadership event in the world. Broadcast live from Atlanta each year, the brings together more than 100,000 people many of the world’s most recognized and respected global leaders.
The Valley’s simulcast begins at 7 a.m. and will be held at the Performing Arts Center, 3217 Wilson Road in Harlingen. The venue has more than 950 seats available with a two-story screen to ensure all have ample view of the broadcast.
The interactive summit goes until 4:30 p.m. and will include live insights from leaders, with participants engaging in activities via their mobile devices. Attendees will also gain a diverse perspective on how to cast a vision, clearly communicate it and deliver it to completion; and obtain key actions and tools to enhance leadership. The full day also offers an opportunity to focus on personal and professional growth without distractions, as well as networking with other leaders in Harlingen and virtually through the event app.
Speakers for the event include leadership author and communicator Andy Stanley, former top sports agent and author Molly Fletcher, co-founder of Square and founder of LaunchCode Jim McKelvery, CEO of StoryBrand Donald Miller, CEO of Headbands of Hope Jess Ekstrom, behavioral science expert and host of “Crowd Control” Daniel Pink, TV commentator and business journalist Suzy Welch, acclaimed leadership expert and clinical psychologist Dr. Henry Cloud; and director, screenwriter, producer and actor Tyler Perry.
Nurses and HR professionals also have the option of earning continuing education credits.
General admission is $125 per person or a group rate of $99 per ticket for five tickets. Tickets may be purchased online.
