Boots to Reboot trains veterans and spouses

The SBA Lower Rio Grande Valley District Office hosts its Boots to Business Reboot Feb. 22-23 at the Mission Center for Education and Economic Development, offering a free two-day entrepreneur training program for veterans of all eras in addition to their spouses.

From 9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. each day, veteran service-members, including members of the National Guard and Reserves, learn how to evaluate business concepts and effective strategies for developing a business plan.Participants have an opportunity to take advantage of a follow-up eight-week online entrepreneurial course through Syracuse University. Also, free counseling is offered by SBA’s resource partner network. This includes SCORE, Women’s Business Centers, Small Business Development Centers and, of course, Veteran Business Outreach Centers.

Registration is available online. The Mission Center for Education and Economic Development is located at 801 N. Bryan Road. Boots to Business Reboot will take place in Classroom 117.
