Zayda Pacheco the new director of membership for the Edinburg Chamber of Commerce. She will work closely with leadership and staff to forward the mission of the chamber while expanding and improving the membership program.

“We’re excited to have Zayda on board,” said Ronnie Larralde, executive director of the Edinburg Chamber. “She is taking on a very important role for our business community .We are confident that her experience and energy will bring tremendous value to our members.”

Prior to joining the Edinburg Chamber, Pacheco was the director of membership for the Greater Mission Chamber of Commerce. Her focus at the chamber was on generating sales in securing new memberships. She also was head of membership renewals and retention strategies. Coordinating events was another part of her position, including networking events, workshops, luncheons, ribbon cuttings and more.

Pacheco is a native of McAllen and a graduate of both McAllen High School. She also studied Interdisciplinary Studies at South Texas College.
