DESCRIPTION:The City of Brownsville partners with the Texas Amateur Athletic Federation to host the 2024 Summer Games of Texas from July 27-30. \nBrownsville’s commitment and engagement to promoting amateur athletics promises to create memorable experiences for 7\,000 athletes and their families across Texas\, offer athletes an opportunity to advance to state level competitions\, all while welcoming visitors from outside of the Rio Grande Valley to the extraordinary City of Brownsville. \nSeven venues throughout the city will accommodate 12 different athletic events: basketball\, flag football\, pickleball\, skateboarding\, soccer\, softball\, boxing\, disc golf\, golf\, swimming\, tennis and track & field.
