DESCRIPTION:McAllen Public Library\, in partnership with Workforce Solutions\, invites the public to the 2025 MPL Job Fair on June 21 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Main Library. This free event is designed to connect job seekers with local employers and provide direct access to employment opportunities across a wide range of industries. \nAttendees will have the chance to meet with hiring managers from over 40 companies\, submit applications on site in both print and digital formats\, and participate in on-the-spot interviews. A computer lab will also be available to assist with online applications. SUMMARY:Community Family Health Fair
DESCRIPTION:McAllen Public Library hosts a Community Family Health Fair on April 9 at the Main library. Attendees can “Get on Track with your Health” by taking advantage of free health screenings and visiting many informational stations. Families can enjoy free mini train rides\, jump rope and hoola hoop contests\, a bubble dance-a-thon more. The Health Fair will take place inside the library lobby and outside\, in front of the facility. \nDr. Martin Ekoumou and UTRGV-UT Health Rio Grande Valley students will be onsite providing free health screenings.
