SUMMARY:HARP Information Presentation With the Texas General Land Office
DESCRIPTION:Hidalgo County Precinct 1 Commissioner David L. Fuentes and the Texas General Land Office host a presentation for the Homeowner Assistance and Reimbursement Program on Sept. 23 at the Pct. 1 Conference Center. \nThe HARP Program\, under the administration of the Texas GLO\, is a new reimbursement and repair assistance program for residents of Hidalgo\, Cameron\, Jim Wells and Willacy Counties who were affected by the 2018 and 2019 rain storms. The combined grant program helps reimburse expenses related to repairs of a home\, and assists with funding repairs that are needed or the rebuilding of a home. \nPeople who wish to apply for the program can learn how to qualify by attending the event.
