DESCRIPTION:Edinburg Chamber Director of Membership Christina Barrera\, PVAS Development Coordinator Arlina Larson\, Edinburg Chamber Executive Director Ronnie Larralde\, PVAS Executive Director Donna Casamento\, and Julian Whitacre.\nThe Edinburg Chamber of Commerce celebrates its September Member of the Month\, Palm Valley Animal Society\, with a mixer Sept. 30 at PVAS Laurie P. Andrews Center. \nThe local animal rescue provides lifesaving care\, comfort and compassion to animals in need by engaging the hearts\, hands and minds of our community. PVAS is celebrating its 15-year membership anniversary. \nPVAS serves five municipalities in Hidalgo County\, as well as the county at-large. It operates two facilities in Edinburg\, taking in approximately 25\,000 animals on behalf of 775\,000 residents each year.
