DESCRIPTION:The Rio Grande Valley Quilt Guild presents the Rio Grande Valley Quilt Show Feb. 18-19 to further their mission to preserve and encourage the art of quilting. \nHundreds of quilts will be on display in 14 categories. SUMMARY:Walk For Women
DESCRIPTION:Walk For Women honors the breast cancer survivors\, fighters and thrivers\, and remember those we have lost but who remain in our hearts. \nRegistration is from 8:30-10 a.m. at the South Padre Island Convention Centre. The walk starts promptly at 10 am. and will also end at the convention centre. Participants are responsible for their own transportation. \nThe route will go south on Padre Blvd to the Post Office at Mars Street. The route will then turn west to Laguna Blvd. From there\, the walk goes north on Laguna to Georgia Ruth.
