The McAllen Chamber of Commerce and the City of McAllen will host their annual Administrative Professionals Day Luncheon on April 23 at the McAllen Convention Center. The event, which sold out last year, is expected to welcome over 400 attendees to celebrate the contributions of administrative professionals.

“We host this event to recognize the invaluable contributions of administrative professionals,” said Xiomara Mier, VP of Membership at the McAllen Chamber of Commerce. “Their dedication and efficiency keep businesses and organizations running seamlessly, ensuring success every step of the way.”

This year’s keynote speaker is Wendy Knight, a seasoned executive with a career spanning financial services, private equity and nonprofit leadership. Knight’s address, “How to Pivot Even When You Think You Got It All Figured Out,” will share insights on navigating change and seizing new opportunities. Her experience leading Sea Turtle Inc. through the largest cold stun rescue in history has inspired many.

In addition to Knight’s keynote, the luncheon will feature the prestigious Administrative Assistant of the Year Award, recognizing an outstanding professional for their dedication and impact. The honoree will receive special recognition and a prize in appreciation of their hard work.

Doors will open at 11 a.m. with the luncheon beginning at 11:30 a.m.  The event is open to all, and tickets start at $40. Register online.
