The Adopt-A-Beach Winter Clean-Up takes place Feb. 5 on South Padre Island. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. The cleanup begins at 9 a.m. Volunteers are asked to wear closed-toe shoes and bring drinking water and gloves.
