DHR Health Clinics hosts its Back-to-School Bash on Aug. 10, providing a morning of helping families prepare their children for a successful school year. The event will take place from 9-11 a.m. n the parking lot of the DHR Health Medical Office Building, 1100 East Dove Avenue in McAllen. The event is free and open to the public.
“Our Back-to-School Bash is our way of giving back to the community and supporting families as they prepare their children for the new school year,” said Veronica Villarreal, chief ambulatory officer at DHR Health.
In addition to school supplies, the event will also provide entertainment and activities for the entire family. The bash includes live dance performances, moon bounces, community booths, games, snacks and refreshments. To receive school supplies, children must be present at the event. Door prizes will also be awarded throughout the festivity.
