The 56th annual Fiesta Edinburg is coming up from February 27 to March 2 at the Bert Ogden Arena, expecting to draw in thousands of attendees to Edinburg.

This year’s star-studded musical lineup kicks off on Friday with Corrido artist Edgardo Nuñez, T3R Elemento, and Nivel. On Saturday, five-time Grammy Award winner La Mafia takes the stage as well as Latin Grammy Award-winning artist and former lead singer of Grupo Límite, Alicia Villarreal.

Fiesta Edinburg also offers an array of activities for all ages. Families can explore the Heart of America Carnival and engage with nature at the Contacto Animal interactive exhibit.

The festival also marks the return of the Fiesta Edinburg Parade on March 1, traveling northbound on Closner Boulevard through Edinburg’s downtown. Those interested in participating can submit float registration applications at edinburg.com.

Established to commemorate Edinburg as the county seat, Fiesta Edinburg has since grown into a premier event celebrating community, culture and quality of life in the Rio Grande Valley.
