The City of Pharr welcomes back its Easter signature events of the Easter EggStravaganza and the Easter Scavenger Hunt  on April 12 at the Pharr Sports Complex Park.

Easter EggStravaganza, hosted by the Pharr Memorial Library, will feature an Easter egg hunt with more than 15,000 eggs, games, prizes and snacks. Registration for the egg hunt will take place on-site at the park  at 201 East Moore Road, beginning at 9 a.m. The egg hunt will begin at 10 a.m.

The Easter Scavenger Hunt takes the search for golden eggs to the streets of Pharr in a unique challenge that tests egg hunters while highlighting Pharr’s businesses. During the scavenger hunt, participants will receive a series of clues that will lead them to different Pharr businesses. The race to gather all the golden eggs leads to the grand prize of $250.

Participants must pre-register for this event and must be at least 18 years old. Check-in for this event begins on-site at the Pharr Sports Complex beginning at 12:30 p.m. The Scavenger Hunt starts promptly at 1 p.m.
