PNC Adventure Day returns to the International Museum of Art & Science on March 13, celebrating young children and their families with a day of interactive learning and entertainment.
The free event, supported by PNC Bank, is an opportunity for families with children aged 6 and under to explore the wonders of early childhood education. Attendees will have access to valuable resources on early childhood learning and will have the chance to experience the PNC Mobile Learning Adventure traveling exhibit firsthand. Partners bringing resources and activities to the event include PNC Bank, Texas Children in Nature Network, Driscoll Health Plan, All Star Basketball McAllen, Mindful Dentistry, E & C Literacy, and Palm Valley Animal Society.
The Mobile Learning Adventure is a unique exhibit designed to engage parents and caregivers in the importance of early childhood education through fun and interactive activities. This initiative is part of PNC Grow Up Great, a $500 million, multi-year bilingual program launched in 2004 to prepare children from birth to age 6 for success in both school and life.
“We are thrilled to host PNC Adventure Day once again at IMAS,” said Roni Cortez, Education director at IMAS. “This event aligns perfectly with our mission to inspire curiosity and encourage lifelong learning, especially in the crucial early years of a child’s development. We are also grateful for all participating community partners for their generous contributions to the event.”
In addition to the MLA exhibit, families attending PNC Adventure Day can enjoy a variety of special activities tailored for young children along with museum favorites like Science On a Sphere, H-E-B Seed to Table and current exhibitions.
