
Dulce Cortina is the new director of membership for the Edinburg Chamber of Commerce. She will work closely with chamber staff and the board of directors to expand and service more than 400 chamber members.
Cortina demonstrates a strong commitment to leadership growth and training, having more than eight years of experience in management.
“I am excited to be able to join the team and have a positive impact on the organization.” said Cortina.
Ronnie Larralde, executive director of the Edinburg Chamber, spoke highly of Cortina, expressing his satisfaction with the new hire.
“Dulce brings extensive experience to the table,” said Larralde. “I am excited for our members and committee of volunteers to meet her. ”
Cortina hails from Mission and is a La Joya Senior High School graduate. She is currently pursuing her Bachelor of Art in Organizational Leadership at South Texas College.
She has also dedicated her time to several organizations including the Rio Grande Valley Literacy Program and Organization of Women Executives. She currently serves on the board of directors for Leadership Mission.
