To commemorate American Heart Month and promote heart-healthy behavior, South Texas Health System Heart invites the public to take part in its Heroes with Heart 5K on Feb. 25.

This year’s run is dedicated to the Valley’s own Heroes with Heart veterans who have survived and thrived in their battle with heart disease. All proceeds benefit local charities.
