Sisters on the Run takes place on Jan. 27 for all runners, from experienced to first-timers, with a fun run and 5K. The annual fundraising campaign supports Proyecto Juan Diego’s programs and services.

Sisters on the Run started as “The Running Nun” by Daughter of Charity, Sister Liz Sjoberg in 2018 when she signed up for the Chick-fil-A Half Marathon. Her goal was to raise funds and brand awareness for Proyecto Juan Diego. Her fundraiser generated quite a buzz among her friends and family throughout social media and at the race.
