The Rio Grande Valley Hispanic Chamber of Commerce is now accepting registrations for its six-session business development program for entrepreneurs and small business owners. The program begins Nov. 11 in collaboration with South Texas College, the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley Small Business Development Center, Olive Marketing and Leadership Empowerment Group.
The program covers essential topics for business growth, including leadership, team development, branding, marketing, social media strategy and business performance evaluation. Participants gain actionable tools and strategies to help scale their businesses, improve operations and connect with local business leaders. Lunch and program materials will be provided as needed.
“Participating in the Small Business Academy was a transformative experience for me as a small business owner,” says Arnold Ramsey, owner of VeggyDog LLC. “The program’s curriculum was outstanding, covering essential topics such as Leadership, AI, Finance, Business Loans, Growth Strategies and Logistics.”
The program is free for RGV Hispanic Chamber members with a $100 refundable deposit. Non-members may enroll for $350, which includes one full year of RGVHCC membership and the $100 deposit. The deposit is refundable upon attendance at all program workshops.
