TSC Dual Enrollment Introduces Technical Pathways

TSC HVAC students have the opportunity of learning the skills of their trade by training with industry-standard equipment and tools.

The Dual Enrollment program at Texas Southmost College is introducing three new pathways this spring to the thousands of high school students TSC serves who are working to earn college credits before receiving a high school diploma.  Computer-Aided Drafting Technology, and Industrial Mechanics and Maintenance Technology make up two of the newest offerings. Multiple Harlingen Entities Receive TWC Grants

Three grants will benefit workers in the Workforce Solutions Cameron area thanks to the Texas Workforce Commission. Workforce Solutions Cameron, in collaboration with Harlingen Economic Development Corporation, receives the $49,900 High Demand Job Training grant. A Skills Development Fund grant of $155,721 goes to Texas State Technical College – Harlingen, in partnership with a manufacturing consortium.
