Operation Lone Star returns to San Juan in Hidalgo County beginning today, July 26. The annual week-long emergency preparedness exercise offers a variety of free medical services. With locations in Cameron, Hidalgo, Starr and Webb counties, the medical personnel see more than 1,000 people daily.
