TWC Grants Boost Local Manufacturing Training

STC and PSJA ISD receive $564,469 for job training The Texas Workforce Commission is investing more in local manufacturing industry with the awarding of grants to RGV educational institutions. A $221,799 Skills Development Fund Grant goes to technical training at South Texas College’s Institute for Advanced Manufacturing. The $342,740 Jobs and Education grant will go to purchase and install equipment at PSJA ISD for dual-credit Career and Technology Education students.…
