South Texas Health System Children’s hosts its third annual Eddie’s Safari Run on March 8 in its main parking lot in Edinburg. The 5K starts at 7:30 a.m. and 2K at 8 a.m. The event is aimed at educating children on the importance of leading a healthy lifestyle and encouraging to exercise and eat well, habits that they’ll hopefully carry into adulthood.
