UTRGV Kauffman FastTrac Coming to Harlingen

Kauffman FastTracThe Harlingen EDC is once again sponsoring the seven-week business course, Kauffman FastTrac. The UTRGV Entrepreneurship & Commercialization Center-led course is open to up to 10 participants who are currently looking to open or grow their business in Harlingen.

This in-person course will be held once a week every Tuesday from April 5 to May 17. Participants will meet from 6-9 p.m. at the Harlingen EDC office. This $700 course will be available to participants at no cost when they apply for the course by March 17. Application are online and space is limited.

The course offers entrepreneurs courses that help them build and strengthen their business plan while also accessing financial and business resources. Additionally, participants will identify market needs, understand business fundamentals, explore risks and success factors, and more.

Experts will instruct Kauffman FastTrac participants in developing a business concept and determining the viability of the concept. They will also aid in outlining the critical steps to successfully launch a business.

“We want entrepreneurs to begin building their dreams here in Harlingen,” said Harlingen EDC CEO Raudel Garza. “We are proud to continue sponsoring these business courses in order to provide our small business community with the resources and tools they need in order to thrive in an ever-changing economy.”
