DHR Health Hosts “Circle of Care” Conference

caregiverDHR Health celebrates family caregivers by inviting them to its 12th annual “Circle of Care” Caregivers Conference on Dec. 6 at at the Edinburg Conference Center at Renaissance. The event is designed to empower caregivers with knowledge, resources and inspiration while also prioritizing something they often neglect — their own health and well-being.

Taking place from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., the conference includes workshops, interactive educational sessions, wellness-focused discussions, entertainment and opportunities to connect with others who understand the caregiving journey. Local organizations will also be on hand to share information about community services, support networks and ways to ease day-to-day caregiving responsibilities.

“Caregiving can be both deeply meaningful and incredibly challenging,” said Dr. Saroja Viswamitra, physiatrist and chief medical officer at DHR Health, who leads the annual conference. “Our caregivers give so much of themselves — often without taking a moment to recharge. This conference is our way of celebrating them, supporting them and reminding them that caring for themselves is just as important as caring for others.”

The conference is free and open to the public, with complimentary breakfast and lunch. Seating is limited, so early registration is encouraged.
