Night at the Brew-seum Returns April 5

Night at the Brew-seumThe International Museum of Art & Science hosts the 17th annual Night at the Brew-seum, presented by Clark Chevrolet and Clark Knapp Honda, on April 5. This annual fundraiser, co-chaired by Gaby Jones and Annette Garcia, supports IMAS and its year-round art and science education programs in the Rio Grande Valley.

For over 17 years, Brew-seum has celebrated the region’s growing craft beer culture. This year’s event will feature a selection of unique brews, collaborations, and a wide variety of beer styles, including porters, stouts, pilsners, ales, wheats, sours, Belgians, ciders and lagers. In addition to the beer, Brew-seum will offer live music, games, food trucks, local food establishments and a spotlight on local businesses.

“Brew-seum is an essential event for IMAS, raising over five percent of our annual operating budget, and offers an exciting way for the community to enjoy great beer and entertainment while supporting the museum’s mission,” says Ann Fortescue, IMAS executive director.

Brew-seum is an after-hours 21+ event that brings together craft beer enthusiasts, music lovers and museum supporters. Guests can sample local craft beers, and bites from H-E-B Texas True BBQ, Cowboy Chicken, CC’s Sweets and more. Queen Killah Bee and Stghtfwrd will perform live music during the evening. The event also features activities, games and a big-screen viewing of one of the biggest nights in college basketball to complete the experience.

Tickets are on sale now and are expected to sell out. General admission tickets are available for $115 ($95 for IMAS members). All proceeds benefit the museum’s art and science education programs in the Rio Grande Valley.
