Quinta Mazatlán hosts a star-spangled evening of music, family fun and festive treats on July 3 with Thursday Night Live: Patriotic Pops in the Park.

The event takes place from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. with the Valley Symphony Orchestra Brass Quintet headlining with patriotic favorites at 7 p.m. The Quintet regularly performs at the VSO’s annual Merry & Bright holiday concert at the San Juan Basilica. It has also been featured at the Cameron County Amphitheatre, public school educational concerts, and a multitude of community events.

In addition to the concert, guests can enjoy hands-on arts and crafts, the Bubble Hut, and a variety of local vendors serving up classic favorites including hot dogs, popcorn, lemonade, watermelon and mini pies.

Quinta Mazatlán encourages attendees to bring lawn chairs or blankets for the family-friendly evening of patriotic celebration and community spirit.

Admission is $5 per person, and children ages 2 and under are free. Tickets can be purchased in advance at quintamazatlan.ticketleap.com.

Due to limited on-site parking, a free shuttle service will be available at 1400 Wichita Ave from 6-9 p.m.
