The City of Pharr, in collaboration with the Pharr Parks & Recreation Department, invites the community to register and participate in the 18th annual St. Patrick’s Day 5K Walk & Run.
This event for all ages takes place March 2 beginning at 8 a.m. The starting line will be located at 1000 South Fir Street, Pharr, TX 78577.
Online registration is available. Registration is $5 for children up to 12 years of age and $15 for adults. Deadline to receive a free t-shirt with registration is Feb. 19.
All levels of runners and walkers are welcome to join the event. Organizers also encourage costumes and accessories showing off the St. Patrick’s Day spirit. Participants over 21 can also enjoy a green beer after the run.
Packet pick-up will take place Feb. 29 and March 1 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Jose Pepe Salinas Recreation Center (1011 West Kelly Ave.).
