Winter Texan Fiesta Takes Place March 7

Winter Texan FiestaThe Greater Mission Chamber of Commerce invites Winter Texans and the local community to the Winter Texan Fiesta on March 7 at Leo Peña Placita Park in Mission. The free annual event acknowledges the invaluable contributions that Winter Texans make to the local economy, culture and community.

The Winter Texan Fiesta features live music, local vendors and an atmosphere that captures the unique spirit of Mission. In addition, the first 1,000 attendees will receive complimentary food.

Entertainment features performances by The Night Howlers, Quentin Flagg, Mariachi Nuevo Cascabel, and Bruce Boudreau. Guests can take in a variety of musical styles, from rock and country to mariachi, as well as a variety of other cultural experiences that reflect the diversity of the region.

“Winter Texans are a vital part of the Mission community, not only bringing a vibrant energy to our city but also making a significant economic impact through their support of local businesses, restaurants, and events,” said Jennifer Espinoza, vice president of Tourism and Operations for the Greater Mission Chamber of Commerce. “The Winter Texan Fiesta is our way of showing appreciation for all they do and welcoming them with the hospitality that makes Mission a special place to visit and live.”

The Winter Texan Fiesta is presented in partnership with the City of Mission, Mission Regional Medical Center and Winter Texan Times.
