Edinburg Chamber Hosts Local Restaurant “Raids”

Edinburg Chamber RaidThe Edinburg Chamber Ambassadors will host “Chamber Raids” throughout the month at local restaurants, encouraging the community to support each business. According to a release from the Edinburg Chamber of Commerce, “Chamber Raids are flash mobs, but instead of dancing and singing our community rallies together to make purchases at the participating locations.”

“To ensure all our business members are being supported during these difficult times we have decided to support a different restaurant each week,” said Ronnie Larralde, executive director of the chamber.

The following restaurants will participate in the events:

The Health Nut – 403 West Trenton Rd #1A, Edinburg, through Jan. 9.

El Jinete Drive, 501 West University Drive, Jan. 11-16

Jason’s Deli, 1604 West University Drive, Edinburg, Jan. 17-23

Ms. Dee’s Tea Room, 202 West Schunior Street, Jan. 24-30

The purpose of the event is to support both Edinburg businesses and the overall community. The chamber encourages participants utilize the restaurant’s curbside service throughout the day.
