The Edinburg Chamber of Commerce and Hidalgo County Bar Association host the Law Day Luncheon on May 1.

Law Day is a celebration of the fundamental principles of the rule of law and its pivotal role in shaping our society. This year, the focus centers around the American Bar Association’s Law Day theme, “Voices of Democracy.”

Under this compelling theme, the chamber is proud to present a distinguished panel of speakers including 370th District Court Judge Noe Gonzalez and County Court #8 Judge Omar Maldonado. Moderating the event will be Veronica Gonzales, senior vice president of Governmental and Community Relations at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. These esteemed speakers will share their perspectives on the top regulatory challenges facing businesses today.

Additionally, the program will address the impact of class action lawsuits on businesses, including considerations around insurance coverage and associated risks.
