Blast off back to school with the IMAS and McAllen Public Utility on Aug. 14. This event features hands-on art and science activities in celebration of the James Webb Space Telescope’s first images.

The event also includes community tables, free books and planetarium presentations. A virtual Webb Expert Panel takes place at 2:30 p.m.

This is event is free for McAllen residents.
