The Edinburg Chamber of Commerce and the City of Edinburg kicks off the holiday season with the Hometown Holiday Celebration Nov. 30 and Dec. 1. The festivities will transform the City of Edinburg’s Downtown District into a magical winter wonderland.

Kicking off the festivities, on Nov. 30, the City of Edinburg will illuminate its downtown district with a spectacular Light of the Tree event at Promenade Park, 201 McIntyre Street. Visitors may explore the Pop-Up holiday market, which will remain open until Dec. 1, offering an array of seasonal delights.

The highlight of the celebration is the Night of Lights parade on Dec. 1 at 7 p.m. The parade route will follow South Closner Boulevard, showcasing an array of floats and entertainment, all in line with this year’s theme, “Santa’s Workshop.”
