“How to Really Start Your Own Business” on Jan. 13 is the first workshop in a series of 12 from SBA specifically developed with the local entrepreneur in mind. The 12-part series addresses a variety of subjects and connects participants with experts from federal, state and local business resources.

Did you recently start a business or planning to start one? While starting a business is an exciting venture, it can be overwhelming and daunting to navigate without proper planning, understanding and execution.

There are a number of factors to keep in mind before starting your own business. If you’re thinking about starting your own business, this session will give you the understanding you need to be well informed and confident when you evaluate your ideas.

To kick off the series, this session will be presented by SCORE RGV and will help participants understand entrepreneurship.
